Anchor Hocking Pink Depression covered butter dish in the Mayfair pattern or Open Rose pattern was produced by Anchor Hocking Glass Company from 1931-1937 in ice blue, pink, green, yellow, and crystal. It was once the most popular depression glass pattern in the country. The original Mayflower has a split stem on the flower design. Mayflower reproduction doesn't. Quoted from: Collector’s Encyclopedia of Depression Glass, Gene Florence.
If you are a collector of depression glass, this dish is perfect for displaying or serving. I also have a platter in the Mayflower pattern listed in good vintage condition.
